The OFF DAYS RESET Hair Mask is almost here. It's a weekly treatment built around one idea: hair that's structurally full of moisture, not just coated in it. Here's what it does, how it works, and whether it's actually for you.
What is the RESET Hair Mask?
It's a deep conditioning treatment formulated to push moisture into the hair shaft — not sit on top of it. The difference matters. Most masks coat the outside of the hair with heavy oils and butters, which gives you a temporary softness that washes out by your next shampoo. RESET works differently. The active ingredients are small enough to penetrate the cortex, the inner structure of the hair, and bind water there. The result is hair that's genuinely more hydrated — not just hair that feels that way for a day.
Does it actually make hair fuller?
Yes — and there's a specific reason for that.
Panthenol (Vitamin B5) is one of the few ingredients that has been clinically shown to increase hair shaft diameter. It penetrates the cortex and binds to water molecules inside the hair, causing the shaft to physically swell with moisture. This isn't a coating effect — it's the hair strand itself becoming wider because it's full. Studies have shown that Panthenol can increase hair diameter by up to 10%, which translates directly to more volume, more body, and hair that feels thicker at the root.
Hyaluronic Acid works alongside it. It's a humectant capable of binding up to 1000 times its weight in water — and at the molecular weights used in hair treatments, it penetrates the shaft rather than sitting on the surface. More water inside the shaft means more volume. It's physics, not marketing.
Hydrolyzed Keratin and Hydrolyzed Protein fill the micro-gaps in the hair's structure — the small voids left by heat damage, UV exposure, and mechanical wear. A hair shaft with gaps is a thinner, weaker hair shaft. Filling those gaps restores the strand's original diameter and makes hair feel denser overall.
The combined effect: hair that's measurably fuller because the strands themselves are structurally more complete.

What else does it do?
- Seals without buildup — Murumuru Butter and Ceramide repair the cuticle layer once moisture is inside, locking it in. Amodimethicone — a targeted silicone — only deposits where the hair is damaged, not uniformly across the shaft, which is why it doesn't weigh hair down or go flat by day two
- Reduces frizz structurally — frizz is largely a moisture problem. When the hair shaft is full of water, it doesn't seek moisture from the air unevenly. A well-hydrated shaft stays smooth. More on why frizz happens and how to fix it.
- Strengthens without stiffness — Rice Extract reinforces the cortex with amino acids, improving tensile strength. Hair that snaps less, stretches more, and holds its shape better
Who is this actually for?
This is important. RESET is not a rescue treatment for severely damaged or chemically over-processed hair. If your hair is in that state, it needs a different level of intervention — and we'll be honest about that.
RESET is for hair that's in reasonable condition but losing ground — hair that's become drier, duller, or more prone to frizz over time due to heat styling, hard water, UV exposure, or just the general wear of daily life in India. It's for hair that's healthy enough to benefit from deep hydration, but not getting enough of it from a regular conditioner alone.
Specifically, it works well for:
- Hair that feels dry or rough by mid-week despite regular conditioning
- Hair that's been heat-styled regularly and lost some of its natural elasticity
- Hair that's lightly colour-treated and needs extra moisture retention between salon visits
- Hair that's dealing with hard water dullness and needs a reset (hence the name)
- Hair that looks fine but feels thinner or flatter than it used to
If your hair is severely bleached, chemically relaxed, or significantly broken, RESET will help — but it won't be enough on its own. That's not what it was designed for. Remember regular trims ( every 6-8 weeks ) to remove broken ends is the best advice you can get and dont over do your color.
How do you use it?
Once a week, after shampooing. Apply to damp hair, work through mid-lengths to ends, leave for 7–10 minutes, rinse. Follow with the OFF DAYS Serum on damp hair before drying. That's it.
It's not a complicated ritual. It's a weekly reset — which is exactly what it's called.
How is this different from the OFF DAYS Conditioner?
The Everyday Conditioner is a daily product — it's designed to be fast, light, and used every wash. RESET is a weekly treatment with a higher concentration of active ingredients and a longer contact time. They work together: the conditioner maintains, the mask restores. If you're only using one, you're getting half the routine.
When is it launching?
